It is compelling how a dream clings to it's dreamer.  Regardless of our neglect or diversion our dreams survive.  They encourage us throughout our journey whether or not we are aware.  Zella is no exception.  The Los Angeles native spent her childhood entertaining and glimpsed a bright future in performance.  Adolescence brought conflict.  Convincing nay-sayers poured gravel over Zella's seedling dream trying to form a path for their stomping feet.  Distraction weeds grew around the sprout enclosing it in thorns and depleting the nutrient rich soil.  Fearing the dream was moribund, Zella put it to rest deep within the earth.  For over a decade Zella waited for her dream to die, unaware that it never stopped growing.  The seedling was only made stronger by the struggle.  It burst through the gravel and bloomed, outshining the weeds that surrounded it.  Zella watered her dream and removed the gravel and weeds that stifled it's beauty.  Now Zella's dream garden is overflowing with life and we cannot wait to see what else blooms.
